Name
Sun, like a big lightbulb in the sky. It's warm, bright. Sun, like a bee, busy and noisy, that's the author of this blog. Why she called herself as SUN? Ask her dad.. This is her first name that her dad given to her.
'Siu Sotong', means 'Small Squid'. This is the name that her housemates used to call her. In Malaysia or Singapore, most of the people call squid as 'sotong'. The funny thing is they reckon that sotong is always blur. She's blur.. Blur like sotong.. And her body size is the smallest in the house.. Can you see the linkage? This 'Siu Sotong' are not lonely, 'Sotong Ma' (Mother of Squid) and 'Tai Sotong' (Big Squid) have the same kind of funny name too! Yeap, that sounds silly but three of them enjoy their 'family life' in Brum for 2 years (sept 02 - sept 04).. :)

OMG... I WANT THIS.. THE NEW MACBOOK!!!
The new 13-inch MacBook. New design. New features. New technologies. All engineered to standards that don’t even exist yet.

Redesigned. Reengineered. Re-everythinged. To build something truly different, you need to work in a truly different way. Apple designers and engineers work together through every stage of product development. It’s a partnership that makes innovation possible. And it’s exactly how the new MacBook was created. With its breakthrough unibody enclosure, industry-first features, and environmentally sound design, it’s a revolution in the way notebooks are made.

Until now, all notebooks were designed the same way. By assembling multiple pieces to create a single enclosure. But once you include all the necessary parts, you add size, weight, complexity, and more opportunities for failure. Solving a problem like this required more than an incremental change. It required a breakthrough. To create the new MacBook, the design and engineering teams devised a way to replace many parts with just one. That one part is called the unibody — a seamless enclosure carved from a single piece of aluminum.
The thickness of a notebook depends on the technology inside. LCD displays typically use cold cathode fluorescent lamps, or CCFLs, to create light and project a picture onto a screen. But that poses two problems. First, these lamps require more space, so the display can be only so thin. Second, just like the fluorescent lights in your home or office, the ones inside a CCFL display take time to warm up before they reach full brightness. That’s a lose-lose situation. And it’s why Apple engineers chose LED backlight technology for the new MacBook.
The new MacBook trackpad has no button because it is the button. That means there’s more room to track, more room to click — left, right, center, and everywhere in between — and one less part. Apple designers and engineers spent countless hours considering things like sensitivity (how much pressure triggers a click?), audio feedback (what does the click sound like?), and friction over the smooth glass surface (what does it feel like?).
Only Apple could make a notebook like this. Hardware and software. Design and engineering. Production and manufacturing. They’re all part of a single process at Apple. When you start using your new MacBook, you’ll discover what that means. The light and sturdy unibody protects the components inside. The LED-backlit display — along with the graphics processor that helps power it — gives you faster games and a brilliant canvas for your photos, movies, and more. The glass Multi-Touch trackpad feels as good as it functions. From the smallest detail to the biggest engineering breakthrough, the new MacBook truly is the next generation of notebooks.

Square one: a solid block of aluminum. Instead of assembling a notebook from many minor parts, the new MacBook was reinvented from just one: the new, solid-aluminum unibody enclosure. It gets full credit for making MacBook thinner, lighter, and even more stunning. But it’s not all beauty. Because of the unibody, this MacBook is also durable. It was designed to take on your world. So slip it into your backpack or briefcase and pull it out wherever you go — it’s impressive in any setting.

Even the keyboard is advanced. The MacBook keyboard is solid, responsive, and comfortable. Just put your fingers on the crisp keys and you’ll feel pure typing bliss. An illuminated keyboard, a popular feature of MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, now comes standard on the 2.4GHz MacBook model. So when you’re in low-light settings such as airports or lecture halls, you can always see what you’re typing. It’s a luminous feature for anyone on the go.
Simply stunning. The beautifully seamless, remarkably thin design isn’t the only gleaming quality of the LED-backlit display. Open your MacBook and you’re instantly greeted by glorious full screen brightness. The aluminum enclosure is perfectly integrated with a glass overlay that stretches to the edge of the notebook, providing a completely unobstructed picture. Anything you view, including the glossy widescreen display itself, is a spectacular experience. The LED-backlit display is more power efficient. And it’s mercury- and arsenic-free, so it’s greener than.
Ports with possibilities. MacBook is iPod, iPhone, digital camera, and external hard drive ready. You’ll find two USB 2.0 ports to connect a wide variety of peripherals. You’ll also see a Mini DisplayPort — a perfect fit for the new Apple LED Cinema Display. The MagSafe power port gives you a trip-proof connection to safeguard your system and valuable data. And you can use the Kensington lock slot to protect your MacBook, battery, and hard drive.

More performance. Less space. Many notebooks skimp on graphics performance in favor of a smaller design. But the new MacBook uses a graphics processor that economizes space in a whole new way. A traditional computer logic board contains multiple components: the CPU, two chips that control communication throughout the computer, and the graphics processor. The logic board in the new MacBook contains only two components: The CPU and a graphics processor with all of the core logic built into a single chip. That graphics processor is the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M, and it helps MacBook reach new levels of gaming performance — without sacrificing battery life.
Apple is most proud of what isn’t in MacBook. What’s common in other notebooks is missing in the new MacBook. Take, for example, mercury used in CCFL backlights and arsenic contained in the glass of traditional LCD displays. Apple engineers have said no to both. They’ve chosen LED technology and arsenic-free glass. They’ve also said no to brominated flame retardants (BFRs) in logic boards and PVC in cables and connectors. In fact, Apple has done more than remove these toxins from the new MacBook. They’ve done the same for the rest of the new MacBook family, the Apple LED Cinema Display, every iPod, and iPhone 3G. Sometimes saying no is a good thing.

sweetie, i changed my blog address. hope you don't mind. don't take it to heart, ok? i know if i tell you not to go there, you won't coz i trust you. but it's just for my own peace. i have so much in my mind right now that i'm not ready to share yet. hope you understand sweetie. me luvs u.
.........................................................................
sure. i won't really take it to heart, but sorry ar.. i have to say this.. i feel sad when i see your message.. coz i can visit your page anymore. it's ok.. i know you have your own reason. i have already got the privilege to read your entries from apr to oct.. you are already very generous. i will respect your decision. nevertheless, i feel happy at the same time. in fact, in order not make me feel bad (this is what you thought, not me!), you can simply create a new blog, copy and paste everythin there without tellin me. but you didn't do that. thanks for bein honest to me all the time.. i hope you will share with me again when you feel like it. okok? (wah.. see, i'm so positive! i didn't think negatively this time. hee.. i can do it, so can you)
for other people, same scenario (feelin bad for him/herself or suffer in a depression), i will feel sorry for them. for you, i won't feel sorry for you but somehow, i can feel the pain. when i see you feelin down, i'm down too. when i see you sad, i feel, not only pain, but very, unimaginable pain. sometimes, i wonder if we were sisters in our past life ;p i don't want to see you sad, that's why i was tryin to minimize your pain by stoppin you from doin somethin, which didn't lighten your pain, at all. and i'm sorry for that. i hope this para will not stop you from sharin your thoughts. don't worry, i'm not feelin bad about myself anymore. i was lost when you sharin your down feelings with me last time. i didn't handle it well, i admit it. but now, i've straightened my mind. whatever that is uncontrollable in your mind, i won't force you to follow the standard correct way. instead of drivin for you, i'll watch you drive your way, scratches are okay. at least you learn from mistakes along the way. i'll stop you when you really goin to hit the lamppost or wall.. haha ;p
so.. can you don't tell me that you are ok when you are not? at least i can be there when you need me.
i hope the "so much" on your mind is not that you cannot get over on some things, some people, or whatsoever.. not easy to get over some things.. i have a strong feelin that you are still.. hmm, i won't say it for now. if not you will say i don't trust you. anyway.. even that is the reason, it's ok.. you can keep yourself in the torturin world.. but you have to give yourself a timeline. walk out after you have tortured yourself enough. make sure you will walk out from there, ok? i don't want you to die inside and JJ will blame me that i told you that you can stay in the dark world ar.. =p
i hope you can start enjoyin your life there. just bear in mind that you haven't gave up your life. you are just steppin onto the next level, a tougher level. don't forget.. NN is blur.. but B is a very strong person at work. nothin can beat her from completin tasks. agree? B's life isn't only about cleanin the house, watch dvd, listenin to the music, go class, go gym, high tea, shoppin, fb'in.. what you need now is a real focus. i understand it's very hard to find jobs there. i'm not forcin you to take up a job that you don't like too. but in a foreign country, you cannot be too picky. just grab whatever is available.. don't mind even a fresh entry position. you are not lookin for a job now, but a somethin that you can be focus in. you will then look for a job after you have some workin experience after a period of time. life is like playin games. you cannot go straight to the final stage when you are not familiar with the game at all. you will die flat very soon. also, you will miss the fun and valuable tips from the beginnin.. agree? =]
this is somethin for you to think about on this blue blue monday. hmm, i hope i didn't ruin your mondy thou.. after a long-winded reply, what i want to tell you in short is, i'm still lovin you and you can count on me at anytime. let me worry about you (although i really feel like givin up on the stubborn you sometimes.. haha).
perk up and think straight! =]
